There’s a lot of great events in July! Food, fireworks, festivals, and fishing highlight the fun things going on around town this month.

. 4th of July Fireworks and Concert
July 4
Cooper Riverside Park

Celebrate our nations independence at Cooper Riverside Park. Fireworks start at 9pm. A patriotic concert by the Mobile Pops starts at 7. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs and a picnic for this great free celebration.

2. Grand Bay Watermelon Festival
July 3
10-6pm

The annual Grand Bay Watermelon Festival is set for July 3. Enjoy fresh, sliced, cold watermelon while playing games with the family. Food vendors, arts and crafts, and other entertainment will be held at Odd Fellows Festival Park

3. Crawfish Cook Off
July 10
Iron Hand Brewing Co.
11-5pm

Everybody loves a good crawfish boil and Iron Hand Brewing is bringing out local cooks to compete for the best crawfish. Tickets are $25 the day of the event.

4. Bay Bites Food Truck Festival
July 22
Cooper Riverside Park
5-9pm

The annual Bay Bites Food Truck Festival is presented by Mobile Baykeeper and their mission to protect and preserve our beautiful watershed. There will be a variety of food trucks, craft beer, music and other games on Mobile’s riverfront.

5. Bienville Bites Food Tour
Throughout July
Downtown Mobile

Come taste your way through Downtown Mobile on a food tour! Tours are held every weekend throughout July with delicious food and stories you never knew about Mobile’s history.

6. 21 and Up Movie Night
July 17
Exploreum Science Center
5pm

21 and Up Movie Night at Exploreum is back with the showing of Independence Day inside the newly renovated digital dome theater. Enjoys snacks from the cafe or even Bring your own wine. The movie starts at 5pm.

7. MOB Music Fest
July 9 – 11
Cathedral Square

The 4th annual MOB Music Fest is back with a weekend full of free live music from all different genres of music. Come out and see our local talent in person at Cathedral Square.

8. Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo
July 15-18
Dauphin Island

The 88th annual Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo in Dauphin Island will once again have anglers from all over the country competing for cash and prizes. Events like the Young Anglers Tournament and the Liar’s Contest fill the weekend.

9. Art Walk
July 9
Downtown Mobile

July ArtWalk will celebrate MOB Music Fest and also highlight creatives in the community by showcasing visual artists, and local chefs. Bring your skates for Roll Mobile skate night also!

10. Tour de Food Trucks
July 20
Arlington Park
4-9pm

This month’s Tour de Food Trucks stop is at Arlington Park at the Brookley Complex. Come out to enjoy great food and this bayside park. Enjoy all the games, music, and activities for the kids.
