Braided River is now open! The grand opening block party at their new location on St. Louis Street will feature music, food trucks and of course, beer!

4. Jurassic Quest

Jurassic Quest is back in Mobile! A great family friendly event featuring a life size T-Rex, dinosaur rides, and hundreds of dinosaurs all weekend at the Convention Center.

5. Mo’Bay Beignet Co. Grand Opening

The much anticipated grand opening of Mo’Bay Beignet in Downtown Mobile has arrived! The doors will open at the grand opening event Feb. 6 from 5-9pm. Come expecting delicious beignets, syrups, and coffee!

6. USS Alabama Living History Drill

USS Alabama Battleship Park

The World War II Living History Crew will be live re-enacting on board the USS Alabama and the USS Drum. At 1PM on board the battleship vintage airplanes attack the ship.

7. The Ice Box Bar Grand Opening Super Bowl Party

The Ice Box Bar is now open in the former Crystal Ice House in Downtown Mobile. A grand opening celebration on Super Bowl Sunday will feature a Bloody Mary/Mimosa Bar, Off Da Bone food truck and free crawfish! Come see the coolest new place to enjoy a drink in Mobile.

The Mobile Arts Council features their annual Arty Awards on Feb. 6 at The Steeple. Presentations will feature members and organizations of our community who have made contributions to our arts and culture community.

9. Learning Lunch : Steve Joynt & Cart Blackwell

History Museum of Mobile

The History Museum of Mobile will host two Learning Lunch sessions in February both surrounding Mardi Gras. Two of the most well known Mardi Gras historians in Mobile will give presentations on the history of our Carnival season.

10. Joe Cain Classic 5K
February 23
Downtown Mobile

The 30th annual Joe Cain Classic 5K organized by the Bay Area Runners. The race takes place on Joe Cain Day at 8AM. A 1 mile fun run and “Moon Pie Dash” race will be in addition to the 5k. Proceeds from the race consist of race entry fees and corporate sponsorships and are given to challenged athletes who deal with their handicaps through athletic endeavors.
