Iron Hand Brewing

Established in 2018, Iron Hand Brewing is a family-owned and operated brewery that holds a special place in the heart of Mobile’s historic De Tonti Square neighborhood. Named after the French explorer, Henri de Tonti, who was known as the “Iron Hand,” this brewery offers an extensive selection of handcrafted beers, from IPAs to stouts and everything in between.

The brewery’s taproom is housed in a historic building that has been beautifully restored, with a warm and welcoming ambiance. While you’re there, be sure to try the Lost Ring Porter, an English Porter, and Ben’s Oatmeal Stout, a rich and creamy stout that leaves a lasting impression.

Braided River Brewing Co.

Located in the heart of downtown Mobile, Braided River Brewing Co. takes its name from the complex network of rivers and tributaries that flow into Mobile Bay. This brewery is dedicated to crafting beers that embody the spirit of the Gulf Coast, with an emphasis on high-quality ingredients and a laid-back atmosphere.

Braided River’s tasting room features large windows and an open, airy feel, making it the perfect spot to relax with friends and enjoy a cold pint. Favorites include the Hoppy By Nature IPA, or the Summer Crush which boasts tropical and juicy flavors, and the Beer Here Now a light and crisp German-style ale that’s perfect for a hot summer day.

Old Majestic Brewing

Nestled in the heart of downtown Mobile, Old Majestic Brewing is a modern brewery with a touch of old-world charm. Their mission is to create an unforgettable experience for visitors by offering a diverse lineup of craft beers, as well as a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

Their taproom, adorned with reclaimed wood and industrial accents, creates a cozy and rustic ambiance inside a former cotton warehouse. Be sure to sample one of their seasonal IPA’s, a hoppy and balanced brew, or try one of their Porter’s for a smooth, malty finish.

Oyster City Brewing Co.

While the original Oyster City Brewing Co. is located in Apalachicola, Florida, their Mobile taproom brings the same refreshing flavors and coastal vibes to Alabama. This brewery is known for its oyster-inspired beers, crafted using locally sourced ingredients and inspired by the natural beauty of the Gulf Coast.

The Mobile taproom features a bright and airy space, perfect for enjoying one of their signature brews.
